Networking

Networking is Vital…

We believe that churches working together is the ultimate goal to healthy ministry! John 17 has some extremely relevant insight to this end: Jesus is praying to God about himself, his disciples, and us. We get mentioned in Jesus’ last prayer before the day of his crucifixion. It’s like we get to hear his last will and testament. What is he praying for? That his people, will come together in unity for others to come to him (that’s evangelism!). Now is the time for us to work together in the body of Christ, to be a church that is unified in sharing God’s love to the world around us. We think networking is one of the best way to accomplish the dream of CYN to reach every teen across Canada.   In 1998 we knew of 8 youth networks across Ontario, after the 2000 ACTS  Project that number rose to over 50. Today networking continues to be a priority within many communities throughout Canada and CYN is ready to serve them.

“It was blessing to have Dale come and visit with myself and other youth pastors at our monthly HYN meeting last month. He truly has a wealth of networking and youth ministry experience. CYN is such an invaluable resource to Youth Pastors and Youth Workers.”

“CYN helped me to network with fellows youth or student pastors in the Markham-Stouffville area to have a group dedicated to prayer, learning and seeking for opportunities to serve together. It is truly a joy and encouragement to be part of a larger network of youth or student pastors at CYN to iron out what makes a disciple of Jesus Christ, and what other networks are doing to impact their neighborhood.”

“The Canadian Youth Network not only cares for the youth in this country, but also sincerely cares for the youth pastors, directors and workers throughout Canada. The heart that CYN has  for these youth workers are clearly on display as they are willing to help these leaders lead this next generation to experience Christ. When you connect with the Canadian Youth Network, you become part of a bigger vision beyond just yourself and your church.” Mike Gordon
