 For nine years the Canadian Youth Network has existed to serve the church by supporting youth leaders as they develop spiritually healthy teens. Over the last number of years we have identified a vacuum in the area of 1 on 1 coaching focused on developing successful young ministry leaders. There are many great schools, training events and programs but there are not many opportunities to be coached independently in the development and implementation of their personal, ministry and spiritual lives.

Nearly 6 years ago I found myself standing in front of more than five hundred people at a large conference where nearly everyone in the audience had their hands raised. Observing the large numbers of people with their hands in the air, I stared, stunned at the numbers of people who acknowledged my question: “Who knows someone who struggles with cutting, depression, anorexia or suicide?”
